Completely LeicaFor the past 4-1/2 years, I have been a Fuji X shooter. I loved the design, features and image quality of this very impressive and reasonably priced system. After an initial stint with the E-X2, I have owned all three versions of the XT bodies, the X-H1, XPro2 and the X100S, T and F. I also owned a bunch of Fuji XF primes and zooms. This is the system that recommend to anyone asking me about upgrading from a pointandshoot or older digital DSLR. I have many fantastic travel images captured with Fuji cameras, many of which are included in the recent portfolios on my web site. However, since high school, I have always wanted to own a Leica M camera. I satisfied that bucket list item with the purchase of my first M10 back in November 2017. Since then, I have shot almost exclusively with my M10 and fantastic Leica M primes. I will be posting portfolios shortly shot exclusively with Leica M. For the occasional need for a long zoom lens, I kept my Fuji XT3 system. This is until last week when I got a great deal on an excellent condition, lightly used Leica SL and Leica Vario-Elmarit 24-90 lens. After shooting it for few days, I sold off my entire Fuji kit to MPB and KEH. The net sale proceeds got me close to reimbursing my bank account for the Leica SL purchase. With the SL, I purchased the Leica SL M-adapter. Shooting M lenses, especially m Now I am completely converted to Leica. It's a serious investment, but the Leica lenses seem to hold their value and with as good as they are, I see no need to look further. My GAS has been cured for the foreseeable future!
